The length and width of the composition can be adjusted according to your wishes. When installed, each upper container with a base covers the fastening system of the lower one, but not deeper than 1.5 cm. The containers are pulled together with clamps.
The design includes: containers, a set of self-tapping screws, a set of clamps, a chipboard sheet (on request). The irrigation system includes: a water tank (in the color of your design), a pump for water supply, a drip irrigation hose (8mm diameter); which is laid by a "snake" through each pot, thereby carrying out drip irrigation. Single pot size: 760 * 370 * 670mm
Fitostena is installed according to the "constructor" principle. Each cell is filled with soil substrate and fixed in the module, thus forming a green hedge.
Plants are planted in round cells; from the inside, the structure is empty (not intended for the ground), which makes it easy to carry out its installation.
As an irrigation, sprinkler irrigation is intended, which ensures a timely and balanced water supply to each cell.
Walls with vertical landscaping are a convenient and effective decoration for any space. They will easily fit into both the interior and various landscape design compositions. Supports for home decoration are selected in such a way that they do not catch the eye and do not violate the symmetry of the facade. If the wall is hand-made, then the support wire is pulled parallel to the layers of mortar.
The designer of our company will select plants according to their characteristics and habitat, in order to implement vertical gardening as much as possible, bringing it closer to your wishes and preferences. Vertical gardening is ideal for areas with a limited area; visually, you can increase the size of the garden.
A hedge is a very interesting design technique for gardening and an effective decorative element. The design can be used as shrubs for hedges and lianas, as the most suitable material for the implementation of the most sophisticated fantasies of the owner of the site.
A hedge is a great way to enclose your garden. It decorates the garden, forms its microclimate, does not require painting, and is also variable in height and, with good care, will last for more than a dozen years.
Properly organized and well maintained hedges will beautify any site. Landscaping gives the plot an attractive look and decorates the architecture of a residential building. Most often, hedges additionally protect the site from prying eyes and unauthorized premises, decorate fences or outbuildings, divide the site into functional zones.
Hedge bushes are multifunctional and therefore very diverse.
They can be single-row, two-row and three-row, forming and non-forming, grown from thorny and thornless plants. For hedges, both coniferous and deciduous plants are used, which can, in turn, be evergreen and deciduous.
Not so long ago, it was difficult for the owners of garden plots to imagine that something other than ordinary vegetables could be grown on it. The purpose of the vast majority of garden plots was purely practical. There was no aesthetics in them. However, over the past two decades, this trend has gradually disappeared, and it was replaced by concern for beauty. Buying a country house, cottage or small summer cottage suggests that their owner strives for silence, solitude and natural beauty of nature. After the stuffy streets of crowded cities, a person needs peace and comfort. His own island of peace and quiet, where everything that surrounds him meets his interests and mood. Landscaping and landscaping plays an important role in the creation of such a corner.
What does the term landscape design mean?
This is the improvement of the site and its landscaping with the help of modern technologies and individual landscape design of the garden. This is a whole range of special landscape services, which includes not only the arrangement of flower beds, reservoirs and lawns. This is the creation of a holistic landscape, which will become a logical continuation of the house and the infield. Landscaping of the site is the style of the owner of the house, the embodiment of his mood and taste.
Facades of buildings, gazebos, pergolas and arches, decorated with climbing plants, coupled with fancifully cut tree crowns create a vertical compositional line of the garden plot. This is what is called vertical gardening.
A vertical curtain of plants, as already noted, protects from noise and dust, perfectly decorates the site and is the easiest way to improve the territory.
Support structures are required for vertical gardening. Their type depends on the original terrain.

The creation of a vertical line of landscape design most often begins with the creation of a hedge. It is based on such decorative forms as trellis and screens. They are planted with various climbing plants. As a rule, several species of flowering plants are used (for example, climbing rose, clematis and adlumia). A hedge can be trimmed or not trimmed, low, medium, high, or curb.
The main structural element is a wooden lattice, which is freely entwined by climbing plants. The pergola not only decorates the garden area, but also protects from the wind and sun.
Both pergolas and hedges are most often decorated with vines. Their indisputable advantage is that they do not require large areas for growth, and are distinguished by their plasticity. However, other climbing plants are also used. They allow you to hide many of the imperfections of the landscape and at the same time can serve as independent decorative elements.
Often the facades of houses become the support for climbing plants. If the building does not fit into the overall design concept, it can simply be covered with plants.

Plants in decorative pots, pots and boxes are increasingly used to decorate garden plots. The containers can be placed directly on the ground, on the floor, or suspended from, for example, a veranda.
For container cultivation, wind and drought tolerant plants are used.

In vertical gardening, vines, climbing and ampelous plants are used for landscaping and decorating facades and landscape gardening structures. The lack of space most often makes resorting to vertical gardening, but for some, such an activity turns into a hobby or a lifelong business, simply because it is interesting, very beautiful and currently popular, and, therefore, also in price.
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon began the official history of vertical gardening. Currently, this technique is widely used both in large parks, cottages and gardens, and in small areas. Vertical gardening firmly occupies the niche of landscaping small architectural forms, buildings and structures. Today's available variety of plants that are used in vertical gardening allow you to truly work wonders and implement even the most daring projects.
Functional use of vertical gardening
With the help of vertical gardening, you can make an old tree play with foliage and lush color, make an unsightly farm building drowning in foliage, protect a gazebo or pergola from the sun and wind, hide a garden bench from prying eyes. Plants that cover the facades and walls of houses as a result of landscaping allow not only to present it to others in a new way, but also have a beneficial effect on the internal climate, preventing overheating, the penetration of excess noise and protecting it from the wind.
Lianas in vertical gardening
The most popular vertical landscaping plants are vines. Their variety allows for a full range of shades of green and a palette of colors when choosing combinations with surrounding objects and intended or existing designs. The unique ability of lianas to wrap around a variety of supports is successfully used when landscaping architectural forms, they climb the supports, clinging to them with stems, aerial roots and antennae.
The most common annual and perennial vines, which are most often used in vertical gardening, are: ivy, maiden grapes, hops, clematis, honeysuckle, lemongrass, climbing roses, morning glory, melotria, kobea, kirkazon, sweet peas, round-leaved woodworm.
Advice for vertical gardening of small areas: you cannot use different types of vines, let it be one type that braids both a gazebo and a fancy garden shape, otherwise different vines will drown out the appearance of each other. In addition, when planting vines on your site, it is worth considering their appearance throughout the growing season and taking into account the growth rate.
As in any other business, there are pros and cons to using vines in vertical gardening. Among the advantages, one can take into account high decorativeness, the ability to create a microclimate, protect from wind, sun and noise, the ability to occupy a large area, the presence of a wide palette of shapes and tones that contribute to the implementation of various design ideas. The disadvantages include the ability of vines to accumulate dampness, which limits their use on the northern and north-western sides of buildings, in addition, it is worth considering the large amount of foliage falling from the vines in autumn - there is a danger of clogging the gutters, one cannot but mention the root growth of some vines , which is able to break through the blind area, asphalt and paving slabs.
In cases of using vines in the garden, almost all disadvantages are reduced to zero, therefore, they are successfully decorated with gazebos, columns, trees, trellis, pergolas and other structures and supports.
Container Plants in Vertical Gardening
A variety of hanging pots, wicker baskets, boxes of fancy shapes and containers allow today to actively use ampelous plants in vertical gardening. They are used to decorate the entrance group, gazebos, patios and terraces, placed in the corners of plots and gardens. Tall flowerpots, stumps, carts and even umbrellas look interesting, from which ampel plants strewn with flowers descend.
Fuchsias, pelargoniums, begonias, petunias, nasturtiums and a whole list of less common but beautiful plants in vertical gardening are used as ampelous plants.
With vertical gardening with container plants, containers with them are not only suspended. Boxes or containers of different sizes can be arranged in a vertical flower tower in which flowers are planted on each tier.
With the slope available on the site, you can arrange a raised multi-level flower bed with ampelous plants that will hang down, forming cascades of leaves and flowers. The bulkiness of structures in small areas should not be allowed - everything should be proportionate and harmonious.
With vertical gardening with vines, it is they who offer a huge palette of the most beautiful and diverse color combinations due to the coloring of foliage and even flowers. Excellent results are given by the following plants used in vertical gardening with vines:
Maiden grapes - widespread everywhere - it is a large deciduous vine. It can grow anywhere - both in the sun and in the shade, it is undemanding to the soil, it does not need shelter - it winters well. It is compatible with any plants, it grows very quickly, it can grow up to 4 m per year, so, most likely, you will have to limit its distribution. Its leaves are very beautiful in their shape, and in the fall it turns bright red - this is a very spectacular sight. Its gray berries are very beautiful, but they are inedible.
Maiden grapes can multiply on their own - a fallen vine can take root. But if it needs to be planted in different places, then reproduction is done by cuttings, they are planted at a distance of 30-40 cm from each other. It is not necessary to use any rooting stimulants - grapes take root very well. At first, loosen the plantings, water, weed and direct the plants towards the supports. Subsequently, apart from watering, no special care is required. Any support is suitable for this plant.

Amur grapes - is similar in many respects to the girl's, it is just less common in summer cottages. It also winters well. Its berries are edible, you can make wine from them, make jam.
Common hops you can, as they say, plant and forget. Meanwhile, it is very beautiful and, moreover, a valuable medicinal plant. It is sometimes more difficult to remove it from the site than to start it, so it is worth controlling its growth. He prefers partial shade and shade, but can grow in the sun. Reacts well to watering. It can be propagated both by seeds and by dividing the bush. He is not sheltered in winter.
Clematis - everyone's favorite climbing plant. It is very decorative, it blooms luxuriously. It has many species and varieties, and each of them has its own shape, size and color of flowers. It can be white, red, blue, dark purple, even almost black, it can be pinkish-lilac ‚in general, the flowers still tend to the blue range. There are clematis with truly huge flowers! Such a plant on the site immediately becomes an accent, even one. At the same time, clematis is unpretentious. The only thing he needs is top dressing and watering, because he must bloom magnificently!
The decorativeness of the plant is up to November, and it easily tolerates minor frosts. For the winter, it needs to be covered, but the shelter is the simplest - just a certain amount of spruce branches and a dense spunbond on top are enough. Clematis are of two types: some bloom on the shoots of this year, then they are completely cut off (leave the stems 20-30 cm), others - on the shoots of the last year. But they are only slightly shortened, rolled up in a ring and laid. In winter, clematis can withstand frosts down to -30 degrees. The only thing that this plant frankly does not like is acidic soils and stagnant water, as well as frankly sunny places. At the very least, he needs to cover his “legs”, that is, shade the lower part. This can be done by planting some perennial flowers or a low shrub densely at its foot.
He needs a fairly large feeding area, so if clematis are planted in a row, then a distance of at least 1.3 m is kept between them. The best top dressing for clematis is mullein infusion, sometimes with milk of lime. You can also feed with full mineral fertilizer, but it is better to alternate these types of dressings. For the winter, before sheltering, sprinkle the soil at the roots with compost. The best support for clematis is a special mesh. Only then will it look like a magnificent "fur coat". Therefore, if it is necessary to place clematis on a wall or on a gazebo with large crossbars, then a mesh must be pulled over these surfaces.
Honeysuckle honeysuckle has very beautiful openwork flowers of pinkish-peach color, which are also very fragrant. It braids the proposed supports very densely. The first time you need to direct the shoots, make sure that they do not twist. For the winter it is not removed, it tolerates frosts down to -30 degrees. But at a lower temperature, the ends of the shoots can freeze, then in the spring they are pruned, and in general, pruning of this liana is not needed. The distance when planting is about 1.5 m, lignified cuttings are planted, you can also buy seedlings in pots. The only thing this plant does not tolerate is dampness, so you need to select dry places for planting or make good drainage.
Actinidia kolomikta has beautiful leaves and flowers, and in addition, medicinal berries. It is also not cut off, it is not removed or covered for the winter. At first, they monitor the shoots, direct them and put a net from cats around the young plant - they love to gnaw it. The net is kept for about 2 years. Requires a large area of nutrition, good fertilization and watering - therefore, the distance when planting should be at least 2 m. Mullein and compost work most effectively. Although this plant prefers partial shade, it grows well in the sun. Then the main thing is abundant watering, especially in the heat, and also if the weather is dry for a long time.
Schisandra chinensis not yet very common, but in vain. This is a real Spartan, requires a minimum of care, he has almost no diseases and pests. In terms of size, this liana is the largest, as a rule, more than 10 m, so it requires large supports. So for gazebos, walls and fences lemongrass is "just that." But you can plant a plant quite often - a distance of 0.7 m will be quite enough. The whole plant is curative in lemongrass, all of its parts are used in medicine, but its rather decorative reddish berries are especially popular - they have a strong tonic effect.
Traditionally, in the Far East, hunters took with them only 2-3 lemongrass berries and did not know fatigue all day. Lemongrass loves partial shade and diffused sun, but it does not tolerate extremes (either bright sun or solid shadow). He does not like waterlogging of the soil, as, indeed, most vines. Responsive to fertilizers, better organic. If you need to propagate it, use root suckers.
Climbing rose may look enchanting, but for this you have to try, this is the most difficult component of vertical gardening. By itself, she will not curl, she needs help - periodically tying the shoots to the support. There are roses that bloom very profusely once a season, and there are varieties that bloom not so luxuriantly, but for a longer time: new and new buds are constantly formed. Contrary to popular belief, this plant is not so demanding, the main thing is to warm it well for the winter.
This rose may not bloom if its shoots are frozen. In the spring and summer, of course, new ones will grow, but, unfortunately, flowers are formed on the shoots only last year. If a climbing rose does not bloom all the time, then it is constantly freezing. She needs a warm "house". The best option is a wooden box plus a dense spunbond on top in 2 layers. This shelter is both warm and breathable. The rose must first be removed from the support - this is the most difficult thing - it pricks noticeably, so it is better to purchase a flexible special support for it, which can be removed from the main support (arch, arbor) and fit together with the rose.
Then cut off the shoots by 1/3, roll them up in a ring and put them in a "house" on a layer of sawdust. In summer, caring for a climbing rose is similar to caring for ordinary roses, and, of course, the place for it should be sunny.
Vertical gardening with vines makes extensive use of the benefits that these luxurious plants provide:
In vertical gardening with vines, annual vines are also widely used: sweet peas, morning glory, lobia, melotria and many others.
Annual vines are interesting for several features of their physiology:
The principle of using vines in vertical gardening lies in the very successful property of these plants: vines always wrap around any support. Vines cling to the support with the help of a whole arsenal of devices that other plants do not have: a stem, young shoots, aerial roots, even elongated leaf stalks and antennae.
In cities, vertical gardening with vines is even more significant than outside the city. Lianas acquire a special, key importance in the decoration of vertical surfaces of buildings and structures. Indeed, the city has one very important problem: greening should be carried out with a minimum consumption of space. Lianas allow you to solve this problem and get the maximum amount of green mass with a minimum of usable area taken from the city.
Vertical gardening with vines transforms balconies, building windows, fences and porches into fabulous visions. Vertical gardening with vines can create almost weightless living awnings from the scorching summer sun, decorate almost any architectural structure.
The key difference between vertical gardening with vines from other methods of decorative gardening is that the vines form, as a rule, a dense homogeneous green mass against the background of a separate structure or support. That is why one should strictly follow two peculiar "golden rules" of vertical gardening with vines:
Vertical gardening with vines also has a number of negative features that are important to consider when using it:
These negative points should not be exaggerated, because vertical gardening with vines has a lot of undeniable advantages:
The original idea of a landscape designer can turn a garden plot into a real paradise, and in an apartment - equip a picturesque botanical gallery to the delight of homeowners.
The most interesting ideas and the most diverse options for landscaping the site can be done with your own hands, having a minimum set of tools and materials, as well as a desire and creative attitude.
Novice craftsmen and owners of garden plots should familiarize themselves with the photo of vertical gardening in order to determine the subsequent direction of work.
